Type Locality and Naming
Along the city of Kazakas, Kuldzhuktau Mountains, Central Kyzylkum. Ya.B. Aysanov in 1965, 1968 (43, pp. 61-62).
Synonym: Kazakasuyskaya Suite, Казаксуйская св.
Lithology and Thickness
Siliceous-chlorite-sericite, micaceous-quartz, clayey slates, and sandstones containing layers and lenses of gravelites, conglomerates, thin-bedded siltstone (aleurolites), siliceous rocks, and volcanites (porphyroids, andesite-dacites, rhyolites, tuffs of trachyriolites) of dark and light gray, pinkish-gray, lilac-gray, and green colors. Thickness 400-500m.

Lower contact
According to A., the lower boundary is not established
Upper contact
The upper boundary is conformable with the Oydybulak Fm (42; 43, 44; 165; 460).
Regional extent
Central Kyzylkum, northern slope of the Kuldzhuktau and Beltau Mountains; in the form of narrow strips in the southeastern part of Bashguzumdy and the northern part of Yangikazgan, as well as under the cover of Mesozoic-Cenozoic formations in the intermountain area of Kuldzhuktau and Auminzatau; in the southern part of Kuldzhuktau in the submerged part of the basement. It is correlated with the Altayaul Fm of the Zirabulak Mountains (44); the upper part - with the Shuruk-Ord suite of Kuldzhuktau.

Numerous organic remains: trilobites - Basilicus cf. nobilis Barr., Calliops cf. hancharensis Sem., Illaenus cf. talasicus Weber, etc., brachiopods Niolella ex gr. actomae (Sow.), Austinella sp., etc.; corals - Lyopora cf. regularis Kim., etc.
